ALBA Berlin was a shadow of itself on a game that ended up being a parody

The final score was 108-64 as Virtus Bologna got the road win in Berlin over ALBA, and that’s pretty much what you need to know about this game, which was not a real contest by any means.

Achille Polonara with 16 points and Toko Shengelia with 15 were the top scorers of the winners, who, like ALBA, are on the last spots of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings.

ALBA never entered the game with Matt Thomas scoring 11 points and being the top scorer for the home team.

A night to forget for Berlin

With disappointed ALBA on the ropes, Virtus made a demonstration of power, leading almost by double score at the first period (27-15).

The halftime score was 62-33 for the guests, who opened the third quarter with a 9-0 run, leading by 38 points (71-33).

The Italians were shooting until then with 82,6% efficiency in two-pointers (82,6%) and 53,8% in threes (7/13), embarrassing the hosts.

At the end of the third quarter, the score was 87-44 in favor of Virtus, and the Italians managed to get a record 51-point lead (97-46).
