Following the home win over Baskonia, Fenerbahce tied at 22-10 with Olympiacos, gaining the first position in the standings thanks to their tiebreaker over the Greek powerhouse.

Now, the Turkish club announced the 37-year-old guard’s waist-injury setback. “Following our athlete’s check-ups at Acibadem Atasehir Hospital, muscle strain was detected and treatment has begun,” it said.
Since returning to the EuroLeague, debuting with the yellow-and-blue powerhouse in the Round 21 on the road against Crvena Zvezda, he has been promising 12.7 points per game over excellent shooting percentages – 68.6% from two, 41.9% from three, and 100% at the line.
Errick McCollum started the current season in Karsiyaka, where he played in the Basketball Champions League for two and a half years; his previous EuroLeague experience was with Anadolu Efes.
