On Wednesday morning, Panathinaikos Aktor traveled for a key game against AS Monaco in Salle Gaston Medecin on Thursday.

In addition to previewing Round 33 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season, Kendrick Nunn confirmed recently reported news about inking a contract extension with the Greens.

“I am extremely excited. I am happy and honored,” he mentioned during a brief media session in the Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, “I am just happy to be back here in Greece for the next three years.”

Early in the 2023-24 season, Nunn signed a contract until the end of the campaign and extended the deal until the end of the 2025-26 season after guiding his side to a EuroLeague championship last May.

With two games left in the double-legged round-robin schedule of the next Regular Season of Europe’s premier club continental competition, the storied Greek club is tied with Monaco in third place of the standings. With both teams at 20-12, FC Bayern Munich, following at 19-13 and currently ranking fifth, is the immediate challenger to a homecourt advantage in the 2025 Playoffs.

“The reality is we have two games, and we need to win one. But now, we just try to focus on winning this first game in Monaco,” pointed out head coach Ergin Ataman.

“We are ready. We had a good week of practice. We just have to finish strong in these last two games,” added 29-year-old Nunn.

The Round 34 contest is scheduled for next Friday and features Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet in OAKA Altion.
