Anadolu Efes will play postseason basketball in the EuroLeague, but won’t have Rodrigue Beaubois on board unless Luca Banchi’s team extends their run all the way to the Final Four in Abu Dhabi.
That’s because, as announced by the Turkish team with an official statement, the French guard will be out of the court for at least six weeks after suffering a non-contact calf injury against Crvena Zvezda.
“MRI scans were performed on our player Rodrigue Beaubois, who was injured in his left foot during the EuroLeague game against Crvena Zvezda,” the statement opened.
” As a result of the tests, our player was diagnosed with a partial tear in the calf area. Beaubois’ rehabilitation process has begun, and he will be away from the team for at least 6 weeks,” it added.
Before leaving the court of Belgrade Arena, he had scored 10 points over 2/3 from two and 2/2 from beyond the arc. In his 7th EuroLeague season with the back-to-back champions, he has been averaging 8.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
