Barça defeated AS Monaco to tie the best-of-five series and force Game 5. After scoring 11 points, Kevin Punter shared the key to the victory.

“Staying focused, fixing some things we watched on the film from Games 1 and 2. Playing with heart and passion, he opened. Blaugrana’s superstar also explained his feelings after securing the 2-2 score against Monaco, which leaves the Catalan team one win away from Abu Dhabi.

“Real proud, the playoffs are tough. Playing at home and winning two games is big time. We got a little momentum going into Game 5. I’m definitely proud, especially with all we have been through this year. We have a shot to make it to the Final Four, we are one game away.”

Like Kevin Punter said, Barça’s journey to Game 5 hasn’t been easy, as the team has had to overcome a lot of injuries and many other problems.

Despite all their absences, with Laprovittola, Metu, and Nunez out among others, Barça never lost composure and managed to finish the regular season on a high note thanks to its resilience.

“We lost Lapro early, Jan recently. Losing Mezie, losing Juan… It’s been like this the whole year, I got hurt at some point. Never giving up, being resilient. We finished fifth with a team that wasn’t healthy the whole year,” the former Partizan guard added.
