Olympiacos landed in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, en route to the 2025 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four and a matchup opposite AS Monaco in the Semifinals on Friday.
“After the Regular Season and the Playoffs, this is the third one,” head coach Giorgos Bartzokas talked about a third separate tournament to conclude the 2024-25 installment of Europe’s premier club continental competition, “You can’t make any mistake.”
“We’re here for our goal. We’re concentrated on our game on Friday. So, everything is good,” added Sasha Vezenkov upon the arrival of the Reds in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Facing Monaco and team legend Vassilis Spanoulis is the remaining step to the battle for a EuroLeague title in Etihad Arena on Sunday.
“Every year, you want to give yourself a chance to be here and give yourself a chance to win a championship,” noted former champion Nigel Williams-Goss, “We put in a lot of work this season to get here, and now is the fun part.”
After 12 years in the NBA, Evan Fournier is set for EuroLeague Final Four action.
“Truthfully, I don’t know what to expect. Because for the first time, it’s outside of Europe. We’ll see, but I’m sure it’s going to be a great event,” said the 32-year-old French superstar.
