ABU DHABI (United Arab Emirates) – Vasilije Micic is one of the EuroLeague legends who traveled to Abu Dhabi for the Final Four and the festivities for the 25-year anniversary of the league.
He is also the point guard of the Serbian national team, and with the Eurobasket coming, there’s a big question concerning the participation of Nikola Jokic.
“Last season we finally had everyone available”, he said, referring to the Olympics and the bronze medal, and speaking directly about Jokic’s participation, he added: “I hope so. I will text him today to ask. We’ll all try to convince him”.
Micic talked also about himself improving as a player in the NBA, having the chance to be a teammate of elite players like Kevin Durant, his EuroLeague Final Four predictions, his friendship with Olympiacos star Sasha Vezenkov and also repeated once more than another member of the All-25 team, Greek guard Dimitris Diamantidis was his idol growing up.
