Tyson Ward is the first signing of Olympiacos for next season. Per Eurohoops sources, there’s a deal between the two sides for a two-year contract.

The player who followed the same path with coach Tuomas Ilsalo and TJ Shorts, initially in Bonn, winning the BCL trophy and later the EuroCup last year with Paris, has a noteworthy first season in the EuroLeague.

He averaged 11 points, with 4.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 38 games with the Parisians this year in the top European competition.

With TJ Shorts being between Panathinaikos and the NBA, there’s more than a good chance that the players will be opponents next season in the Greek derby.

After this addition, it’s safe to assume that the 27-year-old Ward will replace Shaq McKissic in the roster of Olympiacos, who is becoming a free agent this summer.
