Back to Istanbul from a championship-winning tournament in Abu Dhabi, general excitement surrounds the second Turkish Airlines EuroLeague triumph in team history, dominating Fenerbahce Beko.

Winning the EuroLeague championship went from ranking second in the 2024-25 Regular Season with a 23-11 W-L tally to sweeping a best-of-five series opposite Paris, before moving to Etihad Arena to take down defending champion Panathinaikos Aktor on Friday and AS Monaco on Sunday.

Beyond the capital of the United Arab Emirates, a victory parade on Tuesday extended more celebrations in Istanbul, after a warm welcome at the airport on Monday. On the bus, most of the players rushed to capture joyful moments on their phones.

The Most Valuable Player of the Final Four, Nigel Hayes-Davis, stepped up once more, using his Turkish to address the fans and thank them for their contributions over the continental campaign.

Meanwhile, media sessions in Ulker Sports Arena, including head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius talking about the triumph in the Final Four 2025, added to a busy schedule.

But the season is not over. A back-to-back Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi championship and 12th domestic league championship in team history take over the main focus.

Resuming team practices on Wednesday, Fener will prepare for Game 1 of a best-of-three series against Turk Telekom. Ranking first in the BSL Regular Season secured homecourt advantage throughout the Playoffs, starting from the Quarterfinals. Game 1 against the Ankara-based club is set to be played on Thursday.
