After playing for Darussafaka Lassa during the 2024-25 campaign, his first outside of North America, Omari Moore emerged as a serious candidate for Turkish Airlines EuroLeague action.
The 24-year-old combo guard is considering an offer by FC Bayern Munich, as reported by Hamburger Abendblatt’s Rupert Fabig and Bayern insider Robert Heusel on Monday evening.
In addition to the German club seeking necessary roster adjustments for the next season and therefore extending an offer in the form of a multi-year contract, head coach Gordon Herbert had a conversation with the Pasadena native on Sunday.
Using overseas options and moving his talents to the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, the former San Jose State standout logged 30 appearances with Dacka, averaging 15.7 points with 47.7% from the field, 5.5 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks per contest. However, his side ranked 15th out of 16 teams and was relegated to the second-tier division of Turkiye.
Following the BSL season, Moore committed to a second spell with the Niagara River Lions and will soon debut in the 2025 edition of the Canadian Elite Basketball League, after helping in winning the 2024 CEBL championship. The season lasts until late August, before the tipoff of the 2025-26 installment of EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Germany.
His professional career also includes a stint with the Raptors 905 in the G League and participation in the NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors in 2024 and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2023.
