Anadolu Efes extended PJ Dozier’s contract until 2027, the club announced. The American guard/forward was on an expiring deal after joining the team in January.
Hapoel Tel Aviv was among the teams that made a strong bid to sign Dozier. The two sides were in advanced talks before the player decided to stay with Efes.
Dozier posted 8.3 points, 2.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 18 EuroLeague games as Efes made the playoffs with a 7-0 regular-season finish and was eliminated 2-3 to 2024 champ Panathinaikos in the quarterfinals.
In the Turkish BSL, Dozier is having 7 points, 4.0 assists and 3.4 rebounds. Efes is currently up 2-1 vs. Besiktas in the best-of-five semifinals.
