After two years in Greece, the first one in Panathinaikos and the second one in Olympiacos, Luca Vildoza is now expected to leave the country to stay within the Mediterranean Sea, moving to Italy.
According to Eurohoops sources, the Argentinian point guard is expected to join Virtus Bologna and his former head coach at Baskonia, Dusko Ivanovic.
At the moment, there are only negotiations ongoing, with no deal reached yet between the sides. Iacopo De Santis from Pianeta Basket first reported on the potential move.
In the 2024-25 season with the red-and-white side, the 29-year-old former Crvena Zvezda player put up 4.8 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game with Georgios Bartzokas’ team.
Virtus Bologna is in talks with Luca Vildoza and Olympiacos for the release of the Argentinian guard, who is expected to move to Italy and play under his former coach, Dusko Ivanovic.
