On a brief stay in the free-agent market, Rodrigue Beaubois signed a contract extension with Anadolu Efes, as announced on Friday.
The 37-year-old French guard committed for the next season, with the latest deal also containing an option for an additional season.
Beaubois has been with Efes since 2018 and was crowned Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion in 2021 and 2022. With the team based in Istanbul, he has recorded 228 out of his 301 appearances in the EuroLeague. The remaining features in the top tier of Europe were with Baskonia in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, and with SIG Strasbourg in the 2015-16 season.
Last season, he made his way to 33 games, including 11 starts, tallying 8.9 points, 1.6 assists, 1.4 rebounds, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest. However, he was forced to sit out the bottom end of the campaign and the entire playoff series against Panathinaikos Aktor due to injury. The team coached by Luca Banchi was eliminated after going the distance in a best-of-five series.
Over 13 appearances in the latest edition of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi, the Guadeloupe native produced 11.2 points, 2.1 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 0.8 blocks, and 0.7 steals per game. His side was eventually knocked out by Besiktas Fibabanka in the Semifinals of the BSL Playoffs 2025.
Between 2009 and 2013, he displayed his talents in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks and was crowned champion in 2011. He logged 188 games played before returning to Europe.
