Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet officially welcomed Jordan Nwora on Tuesday.
Eurohoops previously reported on a done deal between the Belgrade-based club and the 26-year-old forward. He joined a long list of summer signings for the team coached by Giannis Sfairopoulos, consisting of Tyson Carter, Ebuka Izundu, Chima Moneke, Stefan Miljenovic, and Semi Ojeleye.
Nwora was released by Anadolu Efes on Thursday, after tallying 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game over 37 appearances, including 15 starts in his first EuroLeague season. At the domestic level, he registered 29 more appearances with 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per contest in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi.
Coming out of Louisville and after being selected with the 45th overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft, he was crowned champion with the Milwaukee Bucks as a rookie and went on to focus on the league based in North America over the first four years of his professional career. He logged 206 appearances, spread between the Bucks and briefer spells with the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors. Before using overseas options, he also went into G League action with the Salt Lake City Stars and Wisconsin Herd.
Playing for Nigeria at the international level, the native of New York native was named to the final squad of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the FIBA World Cup 2019, in addition to being capped in the Qualifiers of the World Cup 2019 as well.
