Paris Basketball signed center Ismael Bako, the club announced. The Belgian big man returns to the EuroLeague after his 2022-23 run with Virtus Bologna.
Bako, 29, spent the previous two seasons in VTB League with Unics Kazan. He averaged 9.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 2024-25.
In 2019, Bako was named to the All-Basketball Champions League First Team after helping Antwerp Giants reach the Final Four. He made the jump to the EuroLeague with ASVEL Villeurbanne the next summer and then played also for Manresa before he joined Virtus.
So far in the 2025 offseason, Paris also signed Derek Willis, Jeremy Morgan, Joel Ayayi and Allan Dokossi.
