Real Madrid legend Sergio Llull will be staying with the club for at least one more season.
According to multiple reports, Lull is re-signing with Real Madrid until the end of the 2025-26 season. The Spanish veteran guard, who’s becoming 38 in November, will enter his 19th year with the Los Blancos.
Marca reports that new Real Madrid head coach Sergio Scariolo and Sports Director Sergio Rodriguez really wanted to have Llull on board for at least one more year. Scariolo has been Llull’s coach for several years with the Spanish national team while Rodriguez has been his longtime teammate at Real before he retired in 2024.
Lull, a former EuroLeague MVP (2017) and three-time champion (2015, 2018, 2023), averaged 6.6 points and 2.2 assists in 17:04 minutes during the 2024-25 EuroLeague.
