With the Memphis Grizzlies looking to bring in Tarik Biberovic and presenting him with an offer, the 24-year-old forward declined and instead reached an agreement with Fenerbahce Beko to ink a three-year contract extension.
His decisions were revealed by insider Yagız Sabuncuoglu and confirmed by Eurohoops on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies have controlled his NBA rights since drafting him in 2023, with the 56th overall pick. Besides the Tennessee franchise, three more teams joined in growing interest in his services, looking to possibly get him after a potential trade during the ongoing offseason and heading to the 2025-26 Regular Season. Re-signing until the end of the 2027-28 season, Biberovic is staying with Fener to continue in the EuroLeague and domestic competitions in Turkiye.
