Real Madrid is the next assignment for 28-year-old David Kramer

David Kramer inked a one-year contract to join Real Madrid.

Following successful medicals, his addition to the 2025-26 roster was announced on Friday.

Per the press release: Real Madrid C.F. has reached an agreement with David Krämer, small forward from La Laguna Tenerife, whereby the player will remain at the club for the next season, until 30 June 2026.

David Krämer was crowned world champion with the German national team at the 2023 World Cup, held in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Following his arrival at Real Madrid, Krämer will embark on his third season in Spain, after playing for Covirán Granada and La Laguna Tenerife.”

The 28-year-old shooting guard returns to the EuroLeague, following six appearances with FC Bayern Munich during the 2020-21 season.

Last season with La Laguna Tenerife in the Basketball Champions League, he tallied 12.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game over 15 appearances, stretching to the Final Four powered by Sunel. Making his way to 37 fixtures of Spain’s Liga Endesa, he put up 11.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.7 assists, and 0.1 blocks per contest.

Beyond his club career, Kramer currently represents Germany after debuting at the junior level with Austria in 2013. In addition to winning gold in the FIBA World Cup 2023, he has also suited up for the senior national team in the Qualifiers of the 2019 and 2023 editions of the World Cup, and the Qualifiers of the EuroBasket 2025.
