Anadolu Efes signed center George Papagiannis to a two-year deal that includes an option for another season, the club announced.
Papagiannis, 28, played for AS Monaco in 2024-25. He averaed 7.3 points, 3.4 rebounds in 16:30 minutes in the EuroLeague, along with 5.3 points, 3.4 rebounds in 17:50 minutes over 32 French League appearances.
An 8-year EuroLeague veteran, Papagiannis had a long run with Panathinaikos (2015-2016, 2018 – 2023) and spent a year with Fenerbahce Beko (2023-24). He was a member of the All-EuroLeague Second Team in 2022.
Under new coach Igor Kokoskov, so far in the 2025 offseason, Efes has also signed guard Nick Weiler-Babb while renewing the contract of Rodrigue Beaubois. The team is also in advanced talks with guard Isaia Cordinier.
