After returning to Olympiacos from his loan at Crvena Zvezda, Filip Petrusev won’t ultimately remain in Piraeus in the 2025-26 season, moving to another EuroLeague team.

It’s the case of BC Dubai, which – according to Eurohoops sources – will add the 25-year-old Serbian talent to their already competitive roster coached by Jurica Golemac, both in the EuroLeague and ABA League. Olympiacos, on the other hand, will receive a buyout to let Filip Petrusev go.

In the 2024-25 campaign with the red-and-white Serbian side, Filip Petrusev put up 14.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in 28 appearances, joining after playing four games with Olympiacos.

Telesport was the first to report on the done deal between the Serbian power forward and the EuroLeague newcomer, which will welcome another player on board.

Filip Petrusev is only the latest of a long series of signings by BC Dubai, set to play for the first time ever in the EuroLeague.

He joins Mfiondu Kabengele, Dzanan Musa, Justin Anderson, Dwayne Bacon, Mam Jaiteh, Aleksa Avramovic, Kenan Kamenjas, and McKinley Wright IV.
