Fenerbahçe Beko has officially signed American player Brandon Boston Jr. to a one-year contract, the club confirmed.
A big reinforcement for the EuroLeague champions, who parted ways with key players over the summer, including Marko Gudurić and Nigel Hayes-Davis.
Born in 2001 in Georgia, Boston is a 1.98m tall guard/forward known for his scoring ability. He began his college career with Kentucky Wildcats in the 2020–21 season before declaring for the NBA Draft, where he was selected 51st overall by the Memphis Grizzlies and traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
After spending three seasons with the Clippers and last season with the New Orleans Pelicans, Boston appeared in a total of 147 NBA games, averaging 7.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. He also played in the G-League for Ontario Clippers and Birmingham Squadron.
Last season with the Pelicans, he posted averages of 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals over 42 games.
