Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the addition of guard/forward Braelee Albert from Loyola University on a multiyear deal. The Israeli side says that the player will be loaned to another team for 2025-26.

Per Maccabi:

Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv has signed Braelee Albert to a three-year contract, with the young guard-forward set to be loaned out for the upcoming season. The 24-year-old (1.96 m), who won two gold medals at the Maccabiah Games with Team Maccabi USA, played the past two years at Loyola New Orleans.

Braelee Albert was born on July 8, 2001, in Los Angeles, California. He began making a name for himself in high school while excelling academically and was set to enroll at the prestigious Brown University before being recruited by former NBA star Jerry Stackhouse to play at Vanderbilt. During his two seasons there, he averaged double-digit minutes per game, then transferred to Tulane and later to Loyola New Orleans, which competes in the NAIA college league.

At Loyola, he started in 30 of the 48 games he played, averaging over 28 minutes per night while contributing 11 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Capable of playing both shooting guard and small forward, he now enters his professional career with his first signed contract.
