ASVEL Villeurbanne announced that guard Shaquille Harrison has extended his contract with the club.
Per ASVEL: “For his first season in Europe, Shaquille Harrison has made a strong impression: his impact on both ends of the court and his human qualities make him a prime candidate for coach Pierric Poupet.”
Harrison averaged 5.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists over 16:21 during the 2024-25 EuroLeague, his debut season in the competition. He had 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists during 18:30 minutes in the French League.
This was Harrison’s first run overseas after spending seven years in the NBA. The 31-year-old player had stints with the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers and the Memphis Grizzlies, registering 190 games.
