Valencia signed guard Isaac Nogues to a contract until 2027, the Spanish club announced.
Nogues spent the 2024-25 season in the NBA G-League with Rip City Remix, the Portland Trail Blazers‘ affiliate team.
Per Valencia:
Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with shooting guard Isaac Nogués (1.96m, Badalona, 02/10/2004, 21 years old) to join our men’s team for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2027. The Catalan player, who since August 12 has been strengthening the practices of the senior national team after playing a prominent role with Spain “B,” arrives as a free agent after competing last season with the Portland Trail Blazers’ G-League affiliate. With the Rip City Remix, he was selected to the NBA G-League All-Defensive Team (and finished third in the voting for Defensive Player of the Year), averaging 2.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.1 steals in 40 games.
A product of the Joventut Badalona youth academy from a very young age, he was part of the roster that won the Spanish Junior Championship in 2022. In his first year as a senior player, he played 25 games with Joventut Badalona’s EBA team, averaging 6.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.8 steals for a performance index rating of 13.2. After winning the gold in the U19 World Championship in the summer of 2023 with the Spanish national team alongside his new teammate Sergio De Larrea, he debuted in LEB Plata during the 2023–24 season with Lobe Huesca La Magia. Despite moving up a division, he improved on his previous year’s performance with 6.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 3 steals per game for a rating of 15.2.
For the 2024–25 season, the Portland Trail Blazers’ G-League affiliate, the Rip City Remix, allowed Nogués to test himself in the U.S. Development League, where he stood out as a defensive specialist alternating in perimeter positions, while also showing strong playmaking ability. In the summer of 2025, he signed an Exhibit 10 contract and played one game in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Californian team against the Phoenix Suns.
