Olympiacos announced the contract extension of Giannoulis Larentzakis, who will remain with the club until the summer of 2028.
The 31-year-old swingman, who joined Olympiacos in 2020, expressed his gratitude to the club’s presidents, Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos, and emphasized his commitment to continue giving “100%” on the court.
“When I first joined the team, I wanted to prove that I could stand and contribute at the highest level. I think I managed to do that. I was giving and I will continue to give 100% of myself, and I am very happy that I have the opportunity to keep doing this for the coming years,” Larentzakis said.
Greek guard, who has been wearing the red-and-white jersey since 2020, shares a deep and meaningful relationship with the team and its fans.
“What connects me so strongly with this team is, above all, the people. I have received so much love over the years. I believe my greatest achievement is that they have understood my character and identify with my passion, my energy, and the fact that I always fight for the best.”
With the new season just around the corner, the goals remain the same.
“My goal and at the same time my dream is to win the EuroLeague. We’ve reached the brink many times, we have fought hard, and we will continue to fight for it with all our strength. I want to ask the fans to keep loving us and supporting us. The fans are the ones who give us energy in every game, and only together will we be able to achieve the ultimate goal, which is to celebrate a EuroLeague title.”
