In the first EuroLeague-related pre-season game, LDLC ASVEL prevailed over PAOK Metoco 77-69.
The Greek team will compete in the Basketball Champions League qualifiers and had a good game despite the defeat in front of 3.000 fans in the Arena Stadium des Sables D’Olonne.
Glyn Watson with 14 points and big man Bastien Vautier with 12 were the top scorers of the hosts, as coach Pierric Poupet was able to make experiments and give time to all his available players.
For PAOK, which trailed by one at halftime (36-35) and by seven at the end of the third (59-52), Ben Moore scored 22 points before fouling out with less than two minutes left and after making it a three-point game (72-69).
