Fenerbahce is waiting for the final decision of Talen Horton-Tucker and has also moved for a boost in their front line.
Fenerbahce Beko has announced that they signed a one-year deal with Armando Bacot, as Eurohoops reported earlier. The American center, who spent the last season with the Memphis Hustle of the NBA G League and averaged 16.8 points and 9.5 rebounds, is expected to join the EuroLeague champions.
Meanwhile, Fenerbahce has announced that another big man of its roster, Jilson Bango, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the Afrobasket quarterfinals with Angola.
Bacot, however, is a much more versatile big man, playing also power forward and shooting 35,5% in three-pointers.
The 25-year-old player is a product of North Carolina, where he played from 2019 to 2024. He went undrafted in the summer of 2024 and after a season in the G League, he is expected to move to Europe.
