Anadolu Efes tipped off their preseason schedule with a convincing 87–72 win over Bandırma Bordo, showing early signs of promise under head coach Igor Kokoškov.
New signing Cole Swider led the charge for Efes, delivering a game-high 24 points along with 4 rebounds in his debut performance. His hot shooting set the tone for a comfortable victory against the fellow Turkish Basketball League side.
Center Georgios Papagiannis provided strong support with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, while David Mutaf added 11 points and 4 assists. Brice Dessert also impressed off the bench with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
Efes controlled the game from start to finish, never allowing Bandırma Bordo to mount a serious comeback. While the visitors did not release individual stats, Efes’ balanced attack and defensive discipline proved more than enough.
With the season still a month away, Anadolu Efes will continue their preparations with a matchup against Bahçeşehir Koleji in their next preseason contest.
