A deal between Olympiacos and Partizan Mozzart Bet regarding the transfer of Frank Ntilikina was completed after a few eventful hours, as reported by Eurohoops and confirmed by both teams on Friday morning.
On Monday, Eurohoops revealed the 27-year-old combo guard was in advanced talks with the Reds. Later developments went from the Belgrade outfit requesting €300,000 buyout fee to the negotiations falling through.
However, Ntilikina is indeed switching EuroLeague teams, with his former side getting compensation. Partizan announced the agreement with the Greek side and Olympiacos followed by officially welcoming the French international on a two-year contract.

Ultimately, Olympiacos did not want to wait any longer for additional backcourt depth, with Keenan Evans recently moved to the injury list of the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas. Heading to the new season, Ntilikina will play alongside Evan Fournier, with the blessings of his national team teammate.
On the opposite side of the deal, Ntilikina was practically removed from the team plan for the 2025-26 campaign. The Serbian club asked the player to find another team to cover his €1.1 million contract for the next season, and requested a buyout upon the player’s initial deal with Olympiacos. Ensuing negotiations and various approaches from both interested parties over the last few days eventually resulted in the completion of the transfer.
Under the guidance of Zeljko Obradovic last season, he averaged 7.0 points, 2.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.6 steals per EuroLeague game over 21 appearances. Back in 2015, he introduced himself to Europe’s premier club continental competition by playing four games with his parent club, SIG Strasbourg. From 2017 to 2024, Ntilikina logged 336 NBA games with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, and Charlotte Hornets, after being selected with the eighth overall pick of the 2017 draft.
At the international level, the native of Belgium to Rwandan parents has represented France in the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games, capturing silver in 2021 and 2024. He also won a bronze medal in the FIBA World Cup 2019. Also, he was named Most Valuable Player of the FIBA U18 European Championship 2016.
