Olimpia Milano kicked off the 2025-26 EuroLeague season on a high note, securing a road win at the Belgrade Arena.
Ettore Messina’s team, without Lorenzo Brown, managed a 92–82 victory over Crvena Zvezda, with Zach Leday leading the way with 21 points.
Jordan Nwora scored 19 points for the hosts, but they were not enough.
Anadolu Efes began their EuroLeague campaign under new head coach Igor Kokoskov with an 85–78 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in Podgorica.
Jordan Loyd and Rolands Smits stood out, each contributing 16 points. For the losing side, Jalen Hoard got 22 points; however, the big headache for Maccabi is that Lonny Walker left the game injured.
Panathinaikos also opened its EuroLeague season with a win, defeating Bayern Munich at the Telekom Center in Athens 87–79, as Kendrick Nunn starred with 21 points and 10 assists in front of a sold-out crowd.
The hosts put on a show despite missing Cedi Osman. On the other hand, Marius Grigonis returned to action after almost one year.
