LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne has a new player, as Mehdy Ngouama joins the French team after the injury of one of the key players.
Per official press release: To compensate for Shaq Harrison’s injury, LDLC ASVEL has secured the arrival of Mehdy Ngouama (30 years old, 1m88) as a medical substitute. A finalist in the 2024 championship with Paris, the point guard, who arrived in Villeurbanne this Monday, will notably experience his first career stint in the EuroLeague.

After playing with three different teams last season (JL Bourg Basket, Le Mans Sarthe Basket and Dreamland Gran Canaria), the 30 year old point guard is set to make his Euroleague debut.
