Partizan’s basketball players recorded a triumph in Belgrade after a spectacular match at the Arena. Following the drama, Zeljko Obradovic‘s team defeated Efes with a score of 93-87, which marked the Turks’ second loss.
The first half was decisive, where Partizan scored 55 points and built a double-digit lead, after which there was no comeback for Igor Kokoskov’s team. After the match, the Serbian coach gave a statement, visibly dissatisfied with his team’s performance in the first 20 minutes.
“We didn’t exist in the first half; It wasn’t even like a training session, it was a walk-through for them in the first half. In the second half, we showed a reaction, changed everything, but it’s hard when you’re chasing from behind. It was tough, but in the end, Partizan won at home.”
Efes had beaten Maccabi Tel Aviv at the start but after losses to Hapoel and Partizan, they are now 1-2. On the other hand, the Belgrade black-and-whites have two wins and one loss.
