Olympiacos officially ruled out Evan Fournier for the meeting against Dubai in the Peace and Friendship Stadium, a few hours before tip-off on Friday evening.

The 32-year-old French guard/forward was initially considered questionable for Round 3 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season. Dealing with inflammation and pain in his left foot limited him to individual work during setup practices this week.

In the opening double-game week of Europe’s premier club continental competition, Fournier launched his second EuroLeague campaign with 12.0 points per contest over two away games opposite Baskonia and Real Madrid. The Reds returned from Spain with a 1-1 record.

The Paris native switched from the NBA to the Greek powerhouse after 723 appearances in the NBA, from being drafted with the 20th overall pick in 2012 until 2024, spread between spells with the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks, and Orlando Magic.

A recent addition to the injury list, Thomas Walkup is also out for the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas, alongside Keenan Evans, Moustapha Fall, and Shaquielle McKissic.

On the opposite end, Dubai is expected to miss Danilo Andjusic, Aleksa Avramovic, Mouhammadou Jaiteh, Nate Mason, and Dzanan Musa due to injuries. Newcomer Taran Armstrong is also unavailable.

Beyond the next EuroLeague challenge, Olympiacos will be focused on the first Derby of the Eternal Enemies of the new season in SEF on Sunday, in Round 2 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season. Fournier is considered questionable to play opposite the Greens.
