Shake Milton is on a walking boot due to an ankle injury and will not follow Partizan Mozzart Bet to Spain for a double-game week of the EuroLeague Regular Season.

After team practice on Monday, with the Belgrade outfit preparing for a Round 4 clash with Real Madrid in Movistar Arena on Wednesday, head coach Zeljko Obradovic confirmed the absence of the 29-year-old combo guard.

“He will certainly not travel to Spain,” said the 65-year-old play-caller, “According to the medical staff, he should stay here. We hope he can rejoin the team on Friday, when we return.”

Averaging 8.3 points, 2.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game, the former NBA player introduced himself to Europe’s premier club continental competition, helping Partizan jump to a 2-1 start.

In addition, Miikka Muurinen is dealing with an illness.

“We sent him to the doctor,” said Obradovic, referring to the promising youngster reporting an ailment before practice, “We hope everything will be fine so he can travel with the team.”

Besides Milton sitting out Saturday’s road game against Split, Vanja Marinkovic also missed Round 2 of the AdmiralBet Regular Season but is cleared for the game in Spain’s capital and the following visit to Fernando Buesa Arena to face his former team Baskonia in Round 5 on Friday.

In knee surgery rehab from the top of the 2025-26 schedule, Mario Nakic is still out.

Following the two-game EuroLeague week, Partizan bounces back to the ABA League and hosts FMP in Belgrade Arena next Monday.
