Offensive masterclass from the blaugrana side in a game that was pretty much over at halftime

You never know what you will get with Barça.

And today it was time for an absolute show.

The Catalan team dominated Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv 71-92 to secure its third consecutive win in the Euroleague after an impressive game in Belgrade. The Alexander Nikolic Hall hosted one of the biggest offensive displays of the season thanks to an almost perfect first half from the guests: the 60-32 after two quarters gave Barça a huge lead that they were able to manage during the last twenty minutes. The lead for Barça got as big as 33 points for Barça, which allowed Joan Peñarroya to give some rest to his superstars.

Toko Shengelia had a masterful night, finishing the game with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. But it was Willy Hernangómez who really shone for the blaugrana side: 19 points, 7 rebounds and 27 PIR.

It was one of those nights for Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv: wide open shots wouldn’t go in, the easiest buckets just didn’t want to fall and even Di Bartolomeo was missing free throws. Marcio Santos was -by far- the “home” team’s best player, finishing the night with 18 points. Tamir Blatt added 15 points, most of them when the game was already over.
