Bayern Munich’s defense proved too much for Olimpia Milano at SAP Garden.
Gordon Herbert’s side put on a defensive clinic and cruised to a 64-53 victory in EuroLeague Round 4.
Vladimir Lučić stood out for the winning side with 15 points and five rebounds, finishing with a PIR of 24, followed by Andy Obst with 14 and Kamar Baldwin with 11 points.
For Olimpia Milano, Devin Booker recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Shavon Shields added 10 points and five rebounds.
It was a nail-biter from the start, with the lead frequently changing hands, and Olimpia Milano ahead 33-28 at halftime. However, the guests managed just seven points in the third quarter, allowing Bayern to take control. It remained a tough battle until the very end, but Bayern withstood the challenge and secured a big home win.
