Evan Fournier has been ruled out for Round 5 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, alongside Thomas Walkup, Shaquielle McKissic, and Keenan Evans.

Following a losing effort at the hands of Anadolu Efes on Tuesday evening, Olympiacos head coach Giorgos Bartzokas all but ruled out every injured player for Thursday’s game against Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv in Belgrade’s Aleksandar Nikolic Hall. Their absences extending into the next continental challenge were later formally confirmed by the Reds. In addition, Moustapha Fall is expected to sit out for the entire season due to a ruptured patellar tendon in his left knee.

In Round 4, the team coached by Bartzokas was forced down to 2-2, with Maccabi falling to 1-3. In contrast to a loaded injury list for the Greek club, all players are available for head coach Oded Kattash.

Fournier, 32, has been dealing with an ankle injury, forcing him to sit out recent EuroLeague and Stoiximan GBL fixtures. Before being reduced to the sidelines, he averaged 12.0 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 rebounds per contest over two EuroLeague appearances. Introducing himself to the league last season, he tallied 16.1 points and 2.6 assists per game.

Drafted with the 20th overall pick of the NBA draft in 2012, the Paris native spent the next 12 years in the league based in North America, making his way to 723 games, including 19 in the Playoffs, with the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, and Detroit Pistons.
