Crvena Zvezda is on fire! Following two opening losses and the tough decision to part ways with Ioannis Sfairopoulos, the Belgrade team has completely turned the tables under new coach Saša Obradović.

Having already beaten Fenerbahçe in Istanbul with interim coach Tomislav Tomovic and handed Žalgiris their first defeat of the season earlier this week on Obradovic second debut, Crvena Zvezda stunned Real Madrid recording a 90-75 victory.

Despite missing seven players due to injuries, the Serbian side found a way to overcome the Spanish giant in front of a packed and electric home crowd at Belgrade Arena.

Codi Miller-McIntyre led the way with an excellent performance from the get-go, flirting with a triple-double as he finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.

Jordan Nwora had another strong outing, posting 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Chima Moneke followed with 15 points and seven boards. Semi Ojeleye contributed 13 points, and Nikola Kalinić delivered a solid all-around performance with 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

On the other side, Chuma Okeke tallied 16 points and eight rebounds, Mario Hezonja added 15, and Trey Lyles finished with 11.

Zvezda was down 20–25 after the first quarter but turned the tables in the second with a big run, holding the visiting team to just 14 points until halftime. The Belgrade side continued their inspired play, led by Codi Miller-McIntyre, Chima Moneke, and Jordan Nwora, steadily increasing the lead before finally pulling away in the fourth period to secure a huge win in Round 5.
