Olympiacos is on the market for a guard and Jared Butler is a very serious candidate to be added to the roster of the Greek champions.
Per Eurohoops source, Butler has been offered to the team, which is examining thoroughly his case and may decide to pull the trigger and add him.
Butler played college basketball for the Baylor Bears. As a junior in 2021, he was named a consensus first-team All-American and helped lead the Bears to a national championship. Butler was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
Drafted in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft by the Pelicans and traded to the Grizzlies, Butler also played in the G League for the Salt Lake City Stars, the Gran Rapids Gold, the Oklahoma City Blue and the Capital City Go-Go.
In the NBA he also played for the Thunder, the Wizards and the Sixers.
