Hapoel Tel Aviv means business!
The 2024-25 BKT EuroCup champions entered the 2025-26 EuroLeague season in style, winning five of their first six matches, including a hard-fought 85-77 victory over Monaco in Round 6.
Vasilije Micic had another stellar performance, finishing with 22 points, including a crucial three-pointer down the stretch that gave Hapoel a double-digit lead with 58 seconds remaining.
Johnathan Motley also shone, scoring 11 of his 17 points in the final quarter, stepping up in the clutch and playing his best basketball of the season.
Colin Malcolm and Dan Oturu each added 11 points, while Antonio Blakeney chipped in 10 points for Hapoel.
For Monaco, Mika James led the way with 20 points, five assists, and four rebounds, followed by Elie Okobo with 12 points and eight assists.
Daniel Thies came close to a double-double with 12 points and eight rebounds, and Alpha Diallo contributed 11 points.
