Valencia held off a furious Olimpia Milano comeback to secure a thrilling victory.

Milano erased a 22-point deficit in the third quarter to tie the game late, but Valencia managed to hold their nerve down the stretch and record an important road win with a final score of 100-103 in Unipol Forum.

Jean Montero starred for Pedro Martinez’s side, scoring 18 points, including a crucial three-pointer with 43 seconds remaining that sealed the victory.

Darius Thompson supported him with 16 points, Omari Moore and Jaime Pradilla with 13 each, and Brancou Badio contributed 11 points.

On the other side, Leandro Bolmaro was sensational for Milano with 31 points for a PIR of 37, while Armoni Brooks added 16 but missed a potential game-tying shot in the final seconds.

Giampaolo Ricci chipped in 13 points, Shevon Shields had 11 points and seven assists, Quinn Ellis scored 10, and Marko Gudurić finished with seven points and four assists.
