Bruno Fernando is on his way to the Real Madrid exit, but is expected to continue in the EuroLeague and sign with Partizan Mozzart Bet.

On Friday, Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport reported on the 27-year-old Angolan center nearing a deal with the Belgrade outfit.

In talks with the team based in the Spanish capital, Fernando is currently in the process of terminating his contract, focusing on negotiations. However, he has already almost reached an agreement with Partizan, awaiting minor details, including his official departure from Madrid.

The Luanda native signed with Los Blancos last January, following 226 NBA games, spread between the Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, and Toronto Raptors.

At the bottom end of the 2024-25 installment of Europe’s premier club continental competition, he logged 12 appearances, including two starts for head coach Chus Mateo. With Sergio Scariolo taking over play-calling duties, he was limited to a reserve role, averaging approximately ten minutes per game in the first five team outings before falling out of the rotation. He tallied 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest over those five features. In Spain’s Liga Endesa, he made his way to 22 games en route to an ACB championship in late June and has added three more appearances this season.

Beyond being set to reinforce the paint, heading to the next continental, regional, and domestic challenges on the 2025-26 schedule, the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic is expected to also add a backcourt option, especially since the recent injury of Carlik Jones.
