Anadolu Efes has ruled out Kai Jones for the game against fellow Istanbul outfit Fenerbahce Beko in Round 6 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season.

Shortly before tipoff in Turkcell Basketball Development Center on Friday evening, Efes announced that Jones had left team practice on Thursday due to a severe migraine attack and ruled him out for the EuroLeague clash with the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi rival. Over his first five games in the league, the Texas product tallied 4.8 and 5.0 rebounds per contest.

In addition, Ercan Osmani was labeled as a game-time decision, dealing with a shoulder injury from the Round 5 fixture opposite Panathinaikos Aktor.

Besides Giorgos Papagiannis and Vincent Poirier remaining sidelined for several more months, the rest of the players are available for head coach Igor Kokoskov, including PJ Dozier Jr., Rodrigue Beaubois, and Isaia Cordinier, set to play through finger, elbow, and wrist issues.

On the opposite side, Talen Horton-Tucker is looking to be cleared from a groin injury and has been listed as a game-time decision for the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius. Brandon Boston Jr., due to a sprained ankle, and Arturs Zagars, due to a hamstring injury, are out.

Entering the Istanbul derby at 2-3 to start the newest edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition, Efes and Fenerbahce are tied with FC Bayern Munich in 14th place of the EuroLeague standings, half a game outside the Play-In Showdown zone and one game away from a direct ticket to the Playoffs.
