Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade has set its sights on veteran NBA guard Cameron Payne, according to a report from longtime NBA reporter Marc Stein.
Payne, who recently attended a training camp with the Indiana Pacers, has become the latest established NBA name to draw interest from a EuroLeague club.
The move comes as Partizan looks to reinforce its backcourt following the injury of Carlik Jones, one of the team’s key playmakers, who will be out for several months.
The 30-year-old guard boasts a wealth of NBA experience, including stints with the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, and Milwaukee Bucks, and he would have his first European experience.
