Bruno Fernando signs with Partizan, as the club has officially announced. He will add depth to Zelko Obradovic‘s team near the rim.
Real Madrid released him, and his next EuroLeague stop is Belgrade.
Fernando, 27, is a former player of the Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, and Toronto Raptors, and he gets a new opportunity to showcase his strength in European basketball. The Serbian team announced on Sunday morning, after days of reports about the impending deal.
This exit means Real Madrid could look for a center in the market. On the other side, Zeljko Obradovic now has the big man he’s been asking for since the summer. Tyrique Jones was the only real center on his roster until now.
