Zalgiris Kaunas is on a roll, and its third win in a row in the Euroleague was an easy one.
The Lithuanian team destroyed LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne 96-59 to jump to a 6-2 record.
Sylvain Francisco (15 p.) and Moses Wright (14 p.) were the home team’s best players, but it was a very great game for all players, as everyone contributed.
Glynn Watson (14 points) was the only player from ASVEL to score more than ten points in what was a night to forget for the French team, especially for Melvin Ajinça, who finished with -10 PIR.
After a somewhat close first half (48-35), everything was decided in the third quarter with a 25-9 partial score for Zalgiris.
With the “W” completely sealed, coach Tomas Masiulis was able to give minutes to all his players, finishing the double round with two victories and great momentum.
