Plagued by injuries, Fenerbahce had dropped straight games on the road against Valencia and Real Madrid, falling to 3-5 in the standings.

In Round 9, Sarunas Jasikevicius’ side bounced back with a solid performance, defeating ASVEL 81-67 at Ulker Sports Arena.

Wade Baldwin led Fenerbahce with 14 points and seven assists, while Nicolo Melli added 12 points and nine rebounds. Bonzie Colson contributed 11 points, and Tarik Biberovic and Devon Hall chipped in 10 points each.

For ASVEL, Armel Traore stood out with 18 points and five rebounds, followed by Glynn Watson with 12 points and Mbaye Ndiaye with 10.

Fenerbahce controlled the game almost from the start, taking an 18-10 lead after the opening quarter. The second period saw better offensive execution from both teams, but the hosts extended their lead to 45-34.
The third quarter was tighter, with both sides scoring just 14 points, yet Fenerbahce maintained a comfortable margin and then expanded it to 66-50 in the opening minutes of the final period, a gap the visitors could not close.

It’s worth noting that Fenerbahce committed only five turnovers and grabbed 10 more rebounds than their opponents (42-32), including 18-7 on offensive rebounds.
