AS Monaco star becomes EuroLeague’s all-time PIR leader in overtime win at Maccabi

Mike James delivered a vintage performance in Monaco’s 112-107 overtime win at Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, earning Round 9 MVP honors while becoming the EuroLeague’s new all-time PIR leader.

James posted a PIR of 37 with 34 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals, surpassing Nando De Colo atop the career PIR chart with 5,617.

This marks the 12th MVP of the Round award in James’s career, placing him behind Shane Larkin (19) and the duo of De Colo and Sasha Vezenkov (16 each).

Elijah Bryant (Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv) followed with a PIR of 36 in a win over Dubai, while Virtus Bologna’s Saliou Niang registered 35 in a loss to Baskonia. Dwayne Bacon (Dubai) and PJ Dozier (Efes) both had PIRs of 34.
