Scottie Wilbekin will remain sidelined for two to three more weeks.

After reporting knee pain and sitting out recent games of Fenerbahce Beko, the 32-year-old combo guard underwent medical tests, which revealed swelling in his right knee cartilage.

The Istanbul outfit did not provide a recovery timeline, but he is expected to return to action in two to three weeks, as reported by Bugra Uzar of Eurohoops Turkiye.

After suffering a complete tear of his right anterior cruciate ligament early in his 2024-25 journey with Fener, Wilbekin averaged 9.2 points, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 rebounds over five appearances in the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season, including three starts, before being sidelined for Round 9 opposite LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Ulker Sports Arena last Thursday. He also sat out Round 7 of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season and a home meeting versus Onvo Buyukcekmece on Saturday.

Arturs Zagars (hamstring) and Jilson Bango (left knee surgery) also remain out, but the rest of the players are available for head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius en route to the next two-game week in Europe’s premier club competition. Ar 4-5, the defending champions face Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on Tuesday and Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv on Thursday in Munich’s SAP Garden.

Maccabi has incredible potential offensively. They are one of the top teams scoring the ball. Very clear idea of the play where guards play a huge role and the bigs are always moving and taking the positions for the rebounds, so a very difficult team to stop, and probably we need to focus on ourselves,” the 49-year-old play-caller previewed the meeting with the Yellows.
