Round 12 of regular season of Euroleague started this Wednesday.

And what on paper looked like an interesring derby, ended up being a one-sided affair.

Monaco easily defeated ASVEL 84-52 to jump to a 7-5 balance. The team from Lyon will be once again in the bottom of the standings with a poor 3-9.

Nikola Mirotic and Mike James, with 12 points each, were Monaco’s top scorers in a very collective effort, as Tarpey was the only player who didn’t score.

No player from ASVEL finished in scoring double digits.

Despite a slow start, finishing the first quarter with only a three-point lead (14-11), Monaco had absolutely no problem grabbing control of the game.

By halftime, the lead was already on double digits (34-21) and it only grew as minutes passed.

After the break, Monaco got the first +20 lead and basically finished the game, as almost the whole second half was played with the win secured for the away team.

The guest’s leads got as high as 30+ points and Spanoulis was able to give minutes to his whole roster.
